Zu meiner Person

I am a studied psychologist who is currently doing a doctorate in the field of cognitive psychology at cooperative post graduate program "Wissensmedien". Thanks to my scholarship from the Landesgraduiertenförderung, I have the opportunity to deal intensively with these research questions.

As a PhD student, I focus on exploring the potential of augmented reality and virtual reality in an educational context. My work aims to investigate the impact of these technologies on knowledge retention, memory, problem solving skills and cognitive flexibility.  Of particular interest is the degree of realism and its role in knowledge retention (Skulmowski & Rey, 2020).

Through my research, I aim to contribute to the creation of innovative educational opportunities that make learning more effective, engaging and accessible. As a dedicated researcher, I am keen to share my findings and results with both the scientific community and the wider public. I am convinced that the link between academic research and practical application can lead to positive changes in our society.
